Untold Stories
About the Project
Creative Fenland are thrilled to be part of a co-creation project entitled Untold Stories working with our communities in Fenland. The project will shine a light on community expertise and knowledge to create a piece of community-led creative research exploring issues that impact communities, drawing on the knowledge and lived experience held within Fenland.
Working with filmmakers na/films, Creative Fenland are partnering with the Fenland Orchard Project in Wisbech exploring the relationship between the land and the people of Fenland. Together we will create a film that looks at multigenerational story of growth, the passing on of knowledge through generations using the metaphor of grafting a 'family tree’. The film will be screened in Cambridge and Fenland in (dates TBC).
We will be working with Fenland Orchard Project, Orchard Care Home, young people from schools in Wisbech and individuals across Fenland.
The Untold Stories project team is made up of representatives from Cambridge University Public Engagement dept, Abbey People, Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum, Cambridge Community Arts, Romsey Mill, filmmakers an/films and is supported by the Museum of Cambridge and external consultant Elma Glasgow.
