Call out for art work!

Creative Fenland has delivered over 45 high quality arts courses to over 500 participants across Fenland since 2022 working with brilliant arts tutors to create beautiful work. We are planning a big celebration by showcasing a diverse selection of work that has been created! From clay to charcoal, print to paint, writing to textile… and more.

We will be taking over the wonderful space at Babylon Arts Gallery in Ely in April to ensure as many people get to see your work as possible. As a past participant in a Creative Fenland course, we are inviting you to apply to exhibit your work in this very special showcase.

We will welcome all mediums, including but not limited to paintings, photography, installations, sculptures, illustrations, drawings, ceramics, and potentially work that you have gone on to create since completing a Creative Fenland course. We have a selection of plinths for sculptures and ceramics as well as hanging space.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK:

You can fill out the submission form on the Creative Fenland website HERE attaching images of up to 3 pieces of work - please ensure that the title and size of your artworks is included in file names. We will aim to include at least one of your works.

We are accepting original pieces and all the 2D artworks must be ready to hang with fixtures and picture cord attached, and a small selection of 3D works for display on plinths.

• The submission deadline is on the Friday 21st  March – midday

• Selection by panel will be Wednesday 26th March

• You will be notified by Friday 28th March
  Deliver work to the venue: Saturday 5th or Monday 7th April

• Set-up: Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th April

• The exhibition will open on Friday 11th April with a Preview event from 5 pm to 6.30 pm and will close Sunday 27th April

• Collection of work: Monday 28th & Tuesday 29th April
